A useful first pilot
Begin with a short session about an everyday object or favorite meal. Let participants bring a trusted relative and choose whether to make a recording at all.
Who owns the decisions?
Agree on staff access, participant consent, assisted account use, and what happens when someone leaves the community. Do not assume relatives want every story shared among themselves.
What to measure
Success is a recording the participant has reviewed and feels comfortable keeping, with an agreed recipient and a clear access plan.
