Safety / Report a Problem
Family archives involve real people and sensitive memories. Act quickly when access or material could harm someone, and keep the report as narrow as possible.
If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services. Pinkas support is not an emergency service.
Wrong or disputed information
Correct the record if your role allows it, or ask a family editor to review it. Keep the source and explain the correction; do not replace an uncertain family claim with another unsupported claim. Mark disputed information as disputed when the feature offers that state.
Inappropriate upload or privacy concern
Ask a family editor or admin to make the item private or remove it while the family reviews consent and rights. For a photograph, recording, or document involving you, state what the item is and why its sharing is inappropriate without sending another copy in your first report.
Unauthorized family access
- A family admin should remove the membership immediately.
- Revoke unused invitations, guest links, contribution links, and family access codes that may have been shared.
- Remove compromised sign-in methods and active sessions from Account.
- Report what happened to Pinkas without including private archive contents unless requested through a secure route.
Impersonation
Report an account or contribution that falsely uses your identity or claims to speak for you. Pinkas may ask for identity verification before changing access or attribution. Never send government identification in an ordinary first email.
