Terms of service

Pinkas is a private archive for one family. You create a family space, invite the people you choose, and everything you put in belongs to your family, not to us.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live to open an account. An adult member is responsible for anyone under that age whom they invite.

Your stories, recordings, photographs, recipes, and dates remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to store them, show them to the members you invited, and produce the outputs you ask for, such as a printable book.

We do not use your family's content to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not show it to anyone outside the members and guests you have invited.

Interview prompts, the question library, book layouts, and the software itself remain ours. You may use them to make your family's record; you may not redistribute them as your own product.

A Pinkas project is bought once and includes the first year of Pinkas Archive. After that first year, Pinkas Archive renews annually at the price shown for the project you selected. Additional people and printed or produced keepsakes may be bought separately. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we never receive or store your card details.

Every Pinkas project plan includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 30 days of the initial project purchase, we will refund that project payment. A full refund ends the paid access created by that purchase, while the family can still read and export the record it already made.

You may cancel Pinkas Archive at any time. Cancelling stops the next annual charge and leaves active access running until the period you already paid for ends.

When Pinkas Archive ends, the family space becomes read-only. Your family can continue to view, play, download, and export everything already preserved. We do not delete your family's record because a payment stopped. Renewing restores contributions, uploads, organization, and other active archive features.

You can delete your account or your whole family space at any time from within the app. Deletion is real: content and stored files are removed, not merely hidden, and the removal continues through our backups on their normal rotation.

Export your record before you delete it. We cannot recover a deleted family space.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not record a person who has not agreed to be recorded. Consent matters especially for interviews and for photographs of children.

We may suspend an account that is being used to harass someone or to distribute unlawful material.

We work hard to keep your family's record safe and available, but we provide the service as it is, without a warranty that it will never be unavailable or never contain a fault.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Hebrew dates, yahrzeit calculations, and holiday dates are provided for convenience and are not religious rulings.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
