Cookies Pinkas sets

• A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in after you use a one-time sign-in link.
• Short-lived capability cookies let a guest complete only the RSVP, upload, or family contribution that a family shared with them.
• A language-choice cookie remembers whether public pages should open in English, Hebrew, or Yiddish.

What they do — and do not do

Session and capability cookies are necessary for private access controls. They cannot be used to browse another family's archive. The language cookie contains only a locale choice.

Pinkas does not currently run advertising pixels or behavioral analytics that follow you across websites. If that changes, this policy and any consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Your controls

You can delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting a session cookie signs you out. Deleting a guest capability cookie may require you to reopen the original family link. Blocking the language cookie means Pinkas may not remember your public-site language choice.

Provider pages

A payment or other provider may set cookies on its own site after you choose to visit it. That provider's notice governs its cookies; Pinkas does not receive your full payment-card details.
