Sunset and an uncertain date of death
A civil date without a time can leave the corresponding Hebrew date uncertain. Preserve the missing information as a question rather than a guess.

Keep the local place, approximate time, and who supplied the information. If the time was near sunset or unknown, record the uncertainty and ask for guidance instead of forcing a precise date.

Write 'reported as late afternoon; time unconfirmed' in your notes. That is more useful to the next researcher than an unexplained confident conversion.
Keep the record useful for the next relative
Save the original item or recording, the source of each claim, and the date you added the note. Label estimates and disputed details. Decide who should have access before inviting other people to help.
